Well Vic, I am actually closer to wilkes barre. I live in a town called Kingston. We made out really well here, We were one of the 2 towns that made out good, we had a dam crack but held together on one side of us and the levee held on the other side of us. We were extremly lucky we didn't get any damage here. Many other places were not so lucky and some people lost eveything and were very lucky to get out with their lives. Very few people died here. There were 5 deaths that I know of, one of a heart attack and a 17 year old girl was home and her house was washed away and 2 truckers drove over a edge of a washed out road. The other guy drove right into the raging water after many people tried to stop him.
We were very fortunate here though. thanks for your concern.

OT, One thing I forgot,,lol Scranton They had alot of damage there since the river hit record levels. It is pretty amazing to see what water can do so fast and the amount of damage that can happen so fast.
