No one has a crystal ball to predict what the Yankees will do the 2nd half of the season but IMO they aren't doing all that poorly right now.
Their last 10 games they are 7-3 which is pretty good considering the weakness they have in their pitching. They are 4 1/2 games out because of the OUTSTANDING play of the Red Sox.
I believe they were in worse shape at this point last year and they pulled it out. I won't give up completely on them yet although they have a tough road because the wild card will not be an option this year.
It will be interesting to see what George does and unfortunately he probably will give up someone good to get another pitcher or another hitter because George isn't interested in the future. He is all about the now.
