The only catch that I can think of better at Fenway was in the 60's - although it could have been the late 50's and I think off Dick Williams bat. A ball hit to the far left of the Red Sox bullpen and the center fielder going flat out went parallel over the bullpen wall and caught the ball. I would rate it better only because it took away a homer as he actually caught the ball while in the air in the RS bullpen. Plus there was a good chance of injury. In those days there was no padding on the wall.
