Maybe directing family members investments is not wise. Seems your son would have told you he was all in given your statement above. Guidance on never being all in on an early stage bio or any stock for that matter (is too high a risk) should accompany any stock tip.

Sorry for the loss in money and life.

These tragedies are clearly the most difficult times to navigate. To that extent, it is difficult to navigate through this message, albeit to a perfect stranger. I can't imagine the weight that you feel. Nonetheless, I pray that God might help you and your family find meaning in this tragedy.
