It's part of the game. You should take up a different sport to follow if you don't like an ump calling balls and strikes.

Juice packs and cheese nips for all the players while we replay the video to see if it was a strike.

What i don't like is a few umps are standing way to one side of the plate. Common sense says you are not going to get a good view on the corner pitch.

One would think common sense would come into play & MLB would say what are you teaching in that school how can we say we have a game of integrity when the ump is clear to the other side of the plate.

I hope not...

We need a human back there calling balls and strikes.

I got to ump one game behind the plate.

I found out on the very first pitch that half the people hated my guts and the other half thought I was doing ok.

We need that.

Instant replay gets the calls right, but we no longer have that instant blood pressure rising through the roof anxiety propelled by adrenalin when a call is perceived to be blown.

I miss that.
