LOL! It was a mercy killing by the umpire!

I'm not going to say that the Cubs would have had a big rally to come back and tie it in the 9th but the last pitch of the game was way too high and should have been a walk in my opinion. That's life I guess.



He figured, "Why prolong the Cub Fans' agony? Let them get back to their lives of drinking in the Wrigleyville Bars sooner rather than later!"
