Granted they played those 7 games, when we had no offense. Not that our offense has been a world beater in this series, but analyzing the mets before the deadline, means nothing. Not the same team.
That is why the playoffs are not representative of the "world champion". Play 162 games then the team with the second best record in baseball gets knocked out in ONE GAME. Then on to five and seven games series to decide the WORLD CHAMPION. A short series of three ore four wins does not trump the record over a grueling 162 games, which tests depth of teams...TIMING & LUCK play a much larger part in post season....
