It's a lot easier to be in the military in harm's way, than it is to care about someone else in harm's way. I wasn't in the same situation he is, but thought nothing of the danger. It was just what we do. When we care about someone else, and get blacked out from communication? It puts a whole different aspect on the situation. I'm relieved that he is going to be back in the states.
In regards to the bikini ad? Better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all. I have no idea what her name was? I felt like we should have been together. :-)
