No they need to hold through the day IMO but I could be wrong.

Date of record next wed the 14th this should be the last day to buy to get the dividend.

Jeffree is usually spot on on this stuff.

pochemunyet: If a stock is acting strong it will often recover a relatively small ex-dividend amount in a day or two. I am sure anyone who intended selling, but held on just to receive the $0.20 dividend, wishes they had sold yesterday at the $1.50+ higher price.
