It isn't about the fact Russia is making military strikes, it is that it is becoming very clear who they are striking. As you consider who they are fighting, then you may begin to understand their objectives and strategy. As the light begins to dawn in western mentality, the possibility of this broadening into WW3 escalates daily. When you have the worlds major nuclear powers maneuvering over oil reserves and this close to all out war, you are still questioning why the price of oil is going up? The glut is an illusion. Pumping more oil than the world is using today doesn't change the long term need and dependence on oil of all industrial nations, and doesn't change the scarcity of the commodity to supply growing populations in the long term.
