they are selling now is apples and oranges to Lightwaves tech

We may not be competing against Gigoptix but at least they are making money. LWLG still has not been able to crack the nut. Per Lou Bintz:

I knew months in advance of the obvious risks, and chose to be be committed to singular task of getting LWLG to the next level, that was not the case, and I sincerely hope the new team will be able to accomplish that still to be met requirement.
