Some may have read this post before but the SHM gave more info...

Have you seen the episode of 'My Name is Earl' where Randy (bashers) takes 5 minutes to connect the dots on the kids menu, then examines the result and declares..."It's a Hamburger!"?

Well, many people (longs) can just look at the dots and are able to figure out that it's a hamburger.

Let me try to draw some Dots for you...

Dot 1. The Mexican Government declares it's desire to expand it's technology infrastructure. (2004)

Dot 2. Large Telcos step up to the challenge and begin looking for partners with the technology. (early 2005)

Dot 9. VPN De Mexico does research into the capabilities and products of Globetel Communications and appears to realize that Globetel has a superior product at a more value minded price point. Globetel has a pre-paid system that VPN wanted to keep up with it's competition. Globetel also offers Phone to Phone VOIP to further compete with their competition. And, Globetel ALSO offers Stored Value Cards (through their agreement with MasterCard), which would make it very easy for so many of the Mexicans, who have migrated into the U.S., to send money back to their relatives in Mexico. This Product, combined with the others, would now put VPN De Mexico as a frontrunner to fulfill the Mexican Governments desire to expand the technology infrastructure.

Dot 10. Globetel has now learned from their mistakes and require a deposit for pilot programs (SHM).

Dot 11. AS PART OF A PILOT PROGRAM CONTRACT, THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A PILOT PROGRAM AUTOMATICALLY TRIGGERS DOWN PAYMENT FOR NETWORK BUILD OUT (SMH Q&A).
