Definitely not surprising to hear that and I'm sure other Walmart's are experiencing the same thing.

As someone who works in the CPG business for a $90B market cap company, things like this are very common. We launch products and put a specific date they will go on sale in a Walmart, Target, Safeway, Fred Meyer, etc. and it is not uncommon to see products go on shelves a day or two after we set the date, or even a day or two before.

It's all about logistics and who they have stocking shelves in the stores. They might have just not gotten to it yet, order didn't get shipped there yet, still sitting in the back and not out on the shelves yet, etc. It is something that happens with every company that works with big retailers.

That's great. Did you speak to anybody? I have a great deal of experience with Walmarts.

As we all know, they under staff and over promise. Many of these stores may have these dolls in the back room, but nobody to complete the mod change.

Anything is possible, but let's remember that as much as a stock holder wants their company's product in the store, they are also a pain the ... to work with.

As customers, we love and hate them too. How many times has the shelf been empty for you as a customer?

I will wait and pick up some shares as she drops. I will give till the end of the week to make a solid decision on the deployment.

Good luck here.

Just went to the Walmart in Dayton, Ohio and they had 4 out of the 6 Tween Scene dolls displayed. They were 2 aisles over from a couple dozen types of Barbies, on the last of the toy aisles.
On the top row, looked like about 3 deep, selling for $23.74.
