Very Good Point TortLaw

"The FDA has routinely shown themselves to be an extremely self-serving agency in terms of protecting their near imperial power...even if protecting that power includes their use of non-truthful, misleading statements or trampling on U.S. Constitution."

I believe your statement applies to almost every branch of the Federal "Big Government" these days.

TortLaw...

As a child of the fifties, it was inconceivable to most of us that we would ever come to terms with the Russians or the Red Chinese. Khrushchev said he would bury us and Mao called us "Yankee imperial swine." Today we are trading partners..Time changes all.

I have not a crystal ball, but I am not convinced the FDA and Amarin will remain on hostile terms..The past problems have largely been caused by FDA arrogance, and ignorance with a small possibility there was some corruption..Amarin has successfully muzzled FDA through two spectacular victories in federal court. FDA is the one currently under inspection and any funny business could end up in serious loss of authority for the agency. Amarin has rendered FDA vulnerable to other powerful entities in the government which make it politically expedient for the FDA try to mend fences with Amarin...We should find out whether this is the case in the next couple of months..
