All of the reason cited. However, Chasen Shreve has never pitched these many innings.

If you overuse any reliever I promise you they will stink. You want to know why the texas guy wasn't very successful today, the Genius manager was pitching his closer 5 consecutive days in a row I believe, you can't use and Pitcher out of the bullpen 5 days in a row and expect to get a good result in my opinion.

Yeah but this isn't even just shreve, you can say the same about betances and just about every pitcher in that bullpen to a certain extent. Girardi waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overused this bullpen, this isn't just a one guy thing, he has overuse guys to extremes this year. I like your manager, I generally think he is a good manager and I have said that throughout the years, I just think this has been his worst year managing because he has blown out the bullpen to extreme levels, because he knew their bullpen was good, but he was like a pitcher who had a new pitch that he was getting success off of, what he didn't realize as pitchers do when they develop that new pitch, as he was with his bullpen, that if you use it on limited doses it works incredibly well, you overuse it it doesn't it really it simple in my opinion.
