Originaly, Vanco was posted by Walldog as an example of a company that got African deep ocean oil rights around 1996 to 1999 even cheaper that ERHC deep ocean rights around Sao Tome.

So, the claim that original ERHC contract was unheard of in the oil business is simply Not True.

.....I asked Umbra if he could elaborate on it and he couldn't but did mention this in a post today:

"If I were to haver an opinion, it "might be" that there are more players entering into the JDZ than we might have thought."

"Gene" is brilliant with his very early lead into W. African waters. His grandchildren will be very wealthy one day IMHO.
