As a Ranger Mark Teixeira confronted Vicente Padilla about being a head hunter, especially when Teixeira would get hit in retaliation.

Mark Teixeira and Vicente Padilla don't like each other. At all. Teixeira has publicly called Padilla a head-hunter several times. He said he confronted Padilla about it when the two were Texas Rangers teammates, asking him to stop because he wound up getting hit by opposing pitchers in retaliation.


Bryce Harper expressed the same about Papelbon, "Manny (Machado) freakin hit a homer, walked it off and somebody drilled him. It’s pretty tired...I’ll probably get drilled tomorrow"
