Nice sleuthing... So those with connections might have known as early as Monday Aug 31? IMO this is a much better reason for a run of this magnitude than the expectation of and EC and the hope they can be effective.
My DD makes my expectations for Equity much higher, but retail generally does not have the level of info we have here.
