BDay43, I recall that his sons name was actually printed on the Sans I hull as a dedication to him. And I'm sure that was an emotional tie for Bob Jones to GTE and still is - so I agree that the tears are from emotion and a lot of added pressure to get the Sans II up. I suspect the personal pressure on him is enormous at this juncture.
BDay...you are correct regarding Bob's son, and yes...S1 was named after him; when I met him at the AMEX opening, he spoke then with alot of passion and emotion.
