Wow ..... My wife of 54 passed away very suddenly as well but not from cancer. I'd like to say it gets better, but really the pain only becomes more familiar ...condolences.

Condolences at your heartbreak. And you relay a very poignant point about the personal cost of the dose switching. The cost is far more than financial.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My wife is 52 and reading your post has me sitting here in tears. @#$$% the people behind slowing our drug's progress out into the hands of doctors. I can only hope we find a way to get things going so more people can be made well...my original reason for investing here many years ago. I hope you have many fond memories and a strong support network to get you through your grief. Know that we're all sending our thoughts and prayers.

MANY THANKS! May Peregrine Soar Beyond Imagination. I...

...just want to take a second to thank all of the posts (public and private) of care and support and I want to offer my sincere understanding for all those who also posted of their own losses and also those who suffer/suffered in silence.

I deeply regret the delay to market caused by the dose switching of bavituximab.

This was a shock to read this morning! Posting along year after year can insulate us from the fact that we're humans first. My sister nearly died from sepsis while operating for ovarian tumors, so understand some of what you're going through. Makes the share price and BOD arguments, etc. paltry in comparison. So very sorry 4.

So so sorry to hear of your tragic loss.
A terrible series of events, and as you correctly mention, perhaps could have turned out much different if not for the phase 2 dose switching.
Your personal experience makes it very real what is at stake for so many with Sunrise and other trials for other potential cancer therapies.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
I hope you are blessed with many wonderful memories of your time with her.
