I agree that hopefully this is just the first model, however the Neurosky device being tested in Europe only has one sensor on the forehead. As for the issue of multiple sensors that is where the fine line begins.The company is promoting the worlds smallest BCI device.It looks like they are focusing on the wearable market which makes total sense.The major complaint about the Emotiv and Neurosky products is that they make you look like something from Star Trek. CNBC tested the Emotiv device last year and concluded that it's an interesting concept but that the average person will not wear it out in public.Hopefully the ear canal can provide a better option for BCI signals and working with more advanced apps prove a better option.
No one disagrees with this, yet people ignore it. This device does NOT do anything useful! Nada! It does NOT "write an email or dial a phone." Or play a game any more complex than an hour-long game of tic tac toe, if that. There is no market for this -- thing!
