That's been one of the key issues. You can look at a "roughly" 250 hectare mine (1 square mile) near La Mira, Michoacan, Mexico. That's what an older open pit mine looks like from above.

Now, that doesn't mean Jovita would look exactly like that, but there's nothing in the area indicated by their maps that even resembles that structure.

Also on a side note, the pictures posted to the website are listed as Amarium Copyright 2013. If they are pictures of Jovita, then they would likely be from the very start of production/development.
