tradero: Based on the past and everything I have read. Broker Non-Votes will be counted as YES votes since Proposal 3 is considered routine. This is the same as the way the Auditing Firm Proposal always get YES Votes from the Broker Non-Votes.

tradero, furthermore what you know as Interactive Brokers is known in Europe, besides direct Interactive Brokers, under several other names.

IB actually is also a platform provider for companies (e.g. banks) that want to provide brokering services to their clients without needing the infrastructure to run their own trading platform.

The IB platform may be a lousy platform for traders, but by its simplicity it is great for investor type buy/sell. Therefore it is very popular with banks that know their customers want more then a savings account. And as a consequence they have a VERY LARGE FOOTPRINT but not under the name Interactive Brokers. 4 of the banks I have an account with use the IB platform.

From the reports on this IHub board related to the available PPHM shares to short via IB, and the variation in that number, we know that there are many millions of PPHM shares in that channel. So their will be NO VOTING at all for those shares, by what this statements says:

Therefore, what ever the terms are for non-voted shares will be processed by the Issuer.

PPHM is the issuer. PPHM has clearly said that if the brokers do not vote (and neither the owners) then the vote doesn't count in the quorum.

Thank you for sharing this info. This is extremely interesting.
