"Willing to let go for". That's the key idea here and Dr. M is for sure a smart salesmen and CEO. If 2-73 is successful it won't be hard to prove to the big investors that a lowball buyout of $30 pps (just an example) would be a big mistake as the ad market alone could be worth in the $100s pps in a few years.

The stockholders are not the only ones with a decision to make. You think that BigPharmA will allow BigPharmaB to get AVXL for $10? You think BigPharamC will sit on the sidelines?

In short, if the drug is as good as they say, there will be a bidding war, if a buyout is to happen.
