So quick story. On the Blackhawks that he army uses they purchased a contract for this one guy to make the rails the pilot seats go on.
Well this guy was making them by hand in his shed in the back yard.
Well this guy ended up passing away and the military couldn't get any more seat rails. They went to his wife and said hey can we have his design and his wife didn't even know what he was up to.
Moral of the story. The military doesn't always think about production and fall back plans. That's a true story above and it shows that even 1 guy in a shed can get a multi million dollar contract with the military.
