The waste aspect is pretty notorious, agreed ...

The irony here isn't really the motoped's or even the price, albeit the later is debatable.

It has more to do with the chuckleheads running this operation, the absurd debt they have racked up, the toxic financing deals, lack of filings, bloated SS, prior issues with the SEC, dubious backgrounds and associations of the principals involved and so on ...

Even if all that was somehow to pass muster ...

How would they ever run production on a military order?
