Valid points. However I'm focused on cutting costs, synergies between the segments, dominating additional market share, retaining skilled labor pool which is shrinking in oil & gas and buying when the market is low.

I c this acquisition as a move against GE as much as HAL/BHI but that's my speculation rather than anything I've heard thru vines
