Why didn't he show some character and walk away if he believed something was wrong?

Why didn't he write an article outlining his mistakes and leave it on his website, instead of just removing the pump pieces he wrote?

I wonder if he's going to give the money back he took from TEMN/DKTS since he suggests it was tainted.
