Very big companies hire patent attorneys teams to guide them though the patent process, yet many end up suing each other over what the other later claims as being an infringement. Trouble with law it all based on interpretation.

For example.

There is nothing there but hot air. Good for balloons but little else.

If could be good for keeping warm in the winter. a great day at the beach,
a nice day of sailing etc, it is all in the interpretation.

I would say the Panasonic patent could be a substantial complication but definitely not a showstopper. Most likely SLTD has spoken to Panasonic about the patent. Might they intend to hold us hostage for the lions share of the royalties, or the manufactures don't want to touch things before they know what their profitability is going to be like after paying royalties...whatever. These complications do not trump the problem of not being able to mass produce the product in a good effective way. This is where I think we are today and JN already alluded to this. I think it was Raznik who fielded this information directly from JN at a FL conference. This is really all we have to go on until more information gets released. Until then we will have to deal with these clowns who claim they were lied to because the product timelines have been exceeded.

But yea, agreed, the patents are not any kind of a bottleneck here.
