According to ETRADE there were TWO dividend payments. The FIRST payment was to those who were shareholders of record as of 6/30. The SECOND (special dividend) payment was to those who bought before 8/19.

No. There were two dividends. One was a cash divvy; the other a stock divvy. They had the same record and pay dates. The ex date for the cash divvy was 19 August; the stock divvy, as is usual, didn't have an ex date.



it's possible that some brokerages don't realize there were two.

Many brokers have already paid out cash dividend to those that bought after the 30th.
