It's not about hiding. Why would you even be invested in a company that you thought was dishonest, lying, a scam, a sham? I would call that gambling not investing. I would then think that your only in it for the money and if that is the case, then I don't respect your opinions because they are slanted and emotionally driven and I really don't care what you think. Did you read my post? Nothing wrong with management wanting to review before releasing imo. A smart move imo but like I said, I wouldn't even broadcast.

I want to hear Tim and others speak, inform shareholders and respond to intelligent questions. An edited version can do that just as well. I'm sure that those attending will let us know all about any portion which might be removed for whatever reason (repetitive questions, delays, technical difficulties, disruptive behavior, etc.)

mannyman, do you have other holdings in companies that do provide live SHM viewings? I don't, so I'm not sure how prevalent it is to provide such a service. That's primarily why I don't see it as being necessary for GTE to provide this service. Live, or otherwise. It's not like a standard to be measured by.

Just out of curiosity, will you sell if the SHM is not broadcast at all?

Not broadcasting the SHM live is not a big 'whoop' and GTE will definitely not be out of line by not doing so. If you look at how live broadcasts are abused daily on the major TV networks its no wonder taping or tape delay is required in order to keep showboaters at bay.

In reviewing some of the postings on this Board over the past few weeks or so folks, I too would not go live either if I were Huff.

This is also a poor excuse for dumping shares and realistically 'balls' has nothing to do with Huff's decision. Its a companys only tool in keeping their meetings at a professional level without any of us 'kooks' trying to make a name for ourselves...
