That makes the most sense
Very curious what they are doing. I think it is the general sentiment
here that we are going to get screwed again at the ITC next week. MSFT
is a lot closer to the action than we are, and if that was the way it
is going to go, they would know it. It comes to reason then it would
not be in their interest to stir the pot like that. But if things look
like an IDCC win, they would settle or abuse the legal system ala NOK.
Only thing else that confuses the issue is basically admitting they
use IDCC IPR, but they are not FRANDly. That is the one issue all the court actions agree on- IDCC's negotiations are completely FRANDly.
