Victor,

You seem to think that you know what I believe.

I have never been a fan of Randy Johnson's and I have never been a fan of Steinbrenner plunking down tons of money for has beens.......even if they may still have a few good games (or years) in them I would much rather see the same money spent on a few young prospects.

Unlike you victor, I don't need for the Yankees to make the playoffs every year. Sure I like it when they do but until they start building a team from the bottom up, they will never last in the playoffs as we have seen the past few years.

I would be willing to root for another team in the fall for a couple of years if it would mean getting a decent young team together for future runs at the World Series.

I think the Yankees could be in some serious trouble.

Again, it's wishful thinking on your part victor. I do believe you probably said this about a month ago too and back then with the Yankees dropping like flies I think most here would have agreed with you. I know I would have.

For the amount of injuries that the Yankees have had this year the fact that they are still in the race (never mind that they are in first place) is amazing to me.

Just think if some of the players that are hurt now are able to come back in September they will be so less tired than the rest of the league!

I have little hopes of the Yankees winning a World Series this year and there is also a very good chance that they won't make the playoffs but for right now, I think they are doing a fine job with all the bad breaks that they have had so far this season.

Now if someone can teach A-Rod how to hit again..........
