#3165 RE: lentinman #3157

Len: Brilliantly said?

O' come on! Where in that discombobulated glob of foolishly misguided argument is there any shred of brilliance?

Bill said (and I quote):

"BBB keeps posting his 'seeming share count' as if 1) that means anything and anyone is really telling the truth and 2) it were remotely possible to keep up with all the people holding GFCI stock just by counting posters on 2 anonymous message boards."

First, I cannot intelligently accept the proposition that the RB/I-Hub share count means absolutely nothing. I believe the share count means something rather substantial -- it gives us a sense of some validity to the existence of an exceptionally large short interest, one that, quite amazingly, was already clearly evident July of last year with the generation of that DTC One Time Special Security Position Report, which had only shown about 1/12 of the actual holdings of beneficial owners.

Second, I'm fully aware of the likelihood that there are some who may claim to own more than they really do, but that would certainly NOT be true of everyone. So, to have Bill make the claim -- at least by implication -- that there is NOT one who tells the truth, he, by matter of inclusivity, eradicates all the legitimacy of anything he ever has to say, as it compels us to question any and all of his claims.

Third, I CANNOT even begin to believe that I can ever capture a snapshot of the entire universe of all shareholders of GFCI and their holdings just by taking these little surveys on but 2 message boards. I do NOT even pretend to believe that that is the case! And yet, however deficient these little surveys may actually be, they do have some intrinsic value -- they do allow me the privilege of weighing in on posters' comments in relation to their disclosed holdings. By the way, the survey is NOT exclusive to posters -- I also include 36 non-posters, who collectively own 7.3 million shares. O' it is not meant to be perfect science, by any means, but it will sure satisfy much of my curiosities about naked short interest. I have to intelligently accept that there's something very amiss within the brokerages and their share-lending shenanigans.

Lastly, for Bill to foolishly compare Roland's questioning of his abundance of negatively slanted opinions to my nebulously posting these "seeming share counts" is beyond me. One can't compare stated opinion to another's regurgitation of what all participating investors here claim to hold in a survey. That would be akin to comparing one community's rise in crime rate to another community's prevailing choice of ice-cream flavor.
