I still own a ton of worthless GOIG but I always said a hero
or a zero. When you buy penny stocks you should expect it to
be a zero and hope for a hero. I have a drawer full of worthless
stocks. On options be prepared to lose it all or if you are
lucky you can make a great return. All investments are risky
just some more so than others. Things I didn't buy when they was
dirt cheap, Apple, Nike, Priceline, Netflix and even QCOM.
As Pop Eye said me pays me money and takes me chances.
I have a lot of IDCC calls and hope they do good but if they
don't I look in the mirror and blame that dumb guy looking back
at me and no one else.
You are however 100% right don't tell your friends what to
invest in. I made that mistake today and God will punish me
till March or he pukes it out.
