Yep--my Arsenal boys beat Chelsea in the Charity Shield game on the weekend----traditional last pre-season game between the defending League Champion and FA Cup winner at Wembly...

maybe one year the Fenway owned Liverpool squad will play in it---Lord knows they just spent Yankee-like money again this year...:-)

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — You can’t make this up.

Jets quarterback Geno Smith will miss 6-10 weeks after suffering a broken jaw in a locker room altercation on Tuesday morning, the team announced.

Smith, who went into training camp as the starting quarterback, will have surgery.

Smith was punched by linebacker IK Enemkpali, who has since been released.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is still working his way back from a broken leg suffered early last season, will assume the starting job.
