If Nokia is ordered to pay wouldn't IDCC be able to put a lien

against Nokia? I don't see how if the patents in question

expiring would exonerate Nokia from paying. I am sure IDCC

can seek other action for other patents. The comment Nokia

never denied they owed IDCC and it was only the rate was a

comment made by one of their officers who later left Nokia.

However I thought Microsoft stood good for any liabilities

acquired by Nokia.


I still think both pay and license but maybe I am delusional.

Being a optimist I am hanging in that IDCC will collect a

huge chunk of money. For those who feel otherwise the sell

button is available.
