#28717 RE: multivalue #28715

I thought Centerline was a key element in providing GTE with low cost minutes in support of VozBrasil and future similiar programs since GTE no longer has to buy minutes outside. So seems to me that Centerline would be the last business they would consider for selling.

I'm not sure who would buy it, a communications company (global crossing?)? Not to have to post on TA board regarding pps, but if you think about it, 200 million or so in cash in the bank with 100 million or so shares outstanding would have a dramatic affect on the value of this company. If centerline is essential to the other segments, a guarantee use contract for several years would only increase the value of the division sale IMO. Enough of my thoughts on this as I think it won't happen as I believe Huff has something else in store we will hear about soon. Although I think if you read Dumas letter close from March he hints at a sale of division and it wouldn't surprise me if finalized contracts and a flying strat don't happen soon. IMO
BTW very intersting Mide. I would think they wouldn't exercise though at current crazy low manipulated prices unless cash absolutely needed or have a desire to fuel more MF and Byron articles.
