from my understanding… the arbitration itself was for an "outside China" rate…. but the output was to be part of a global agreement.

I'm not sure if the outside rate is the issue right now… or if they got to the global agreement part

tw11 - In my way of thinking, the Huawei arbitration could have only involved 3G/4G considerations as past and current technologies in use. What both Huawei and InterDigital NEED is a FRAND royalty rate that includes 5G for future use technologies. Therefore, the arbitration result would need to be set aside and substituted with an agreement that encompasses a 5G resolution. JMHO

Isn't Huawai arbitration only PARTIALLY resolved?
