As I explained...IMO of course....Steipp based his calculation it seems....on how long it took to get the knife to production. To include the interference of having to fight VISSER with lawyers...that was all added into the "one year" from start to production......also, that knife started as a very basic concept...if that....it came from scratch...in the head of MA. That's a far cry from a company coming in
with a item that they want to make out of LiquidMetal....an item already designed....already produced, etc...that has drawings and specs....so Steipp should have clarified what type item he was talking about....for that
9 to 12 month cycle. Surely it can't be the same for any item.....but Steipp made it seem what way...
he should have clarified it by describing the type item that would take that long....and those that would
take a much shorter time frame....

i hope I've clarified my issue.

All good points and thanks for injecting some sanity.

However, your statement: "Under promise and over deliver is a key concept to build in contingency and manage expectations." Is not really very relevant in the LQMT world, is it?

I mean, in order to expect them to "over deliver", wouldn't one first have to show they can "deliver" in the first place? LQMT, TommyBoy, and team have really had troubles with the concept of "delivering" IMHO.
