It amazes me how many people think that, in this day of ambulance-chaser, I mean supposed "shareholder" lawsuits, someone would make a material statement that is not true. If patients did NOT request the extension, do you think AVXL is going to send thugs to their house every day and force a pill down their throats?

Shareholder lawsuit; fraud; criminal and civil penalties. THOSE are the words that strike fear in the hearts of CEOs. No one is going to say that the patients asked to continue if they did NOT ask to continue.

Don't mean to be jumping down your throat, Dr.No, I just have have it with people being so paranoid about whether to believe a material statement made by a professional manager, on this and another board I post on.

Well actually they can only sell what has been registered. And I think that's a far-cry lower than the ~38MM issued, 15MM or so per the S-1s. Someone crunch, please. The warrants should convert at 50-60% ROI, but they won't necessarily flood the market with them if PPS surges. I watch the L2 and when volume slows, CANT is on the ask. But lately, has been waiting for hits as opposed to selling into the bid, which he (and ARCA) did quite a bit more back last month, and earlier. When the buying or selling kicks-in, you'll see CANT move back up 2-3¢ to the resistance area. Doesn't let the dilution upset the natural momentum, just augment it. It's part of the agreement, along with no hedge-shorting. That is why the uptrend has been so stable. Controlled dilution. Thank Dr Missling, again.

You can ask! I trade the #@$%! Didn't get the rest of my reload @ .63 today so I sold all remaining @ .785!!! Plum cash right now and I might get scalped Monday and end-up loosing some shares. Oh well, easy-come easy-go! I'll have lots of shares come Pfizer-time! ;-)

I hope that the extension of the phase 2AB would not necessitate a delay of the 2BA; and I don't think it would. Particularly if you believe the extension is really at the request of the patients and givers. Hearing it from the Australian doc, I do believe it.

My belief is it's up to the FDA. Do a full-blown 3-500 patient P2b/3 for 1.5 years for saftey & precision, or accelerated study and just 'get the drug to market'. Whatever is in the best interest of the patients. And we know the public opinion on that!
