Doktornolittle...combo drugs do not consist of 2 separate tablets/capsules. These 2 drugs are combined into one single tablet. Hence the need for a patent. Hope this makes since.

Additionally, the patent litigation has to do with the one claiming the discovery that this combination shows synergistic effect. I know very little about the issues having to do with what is being disputed regarding the Anavex Plus patent. Maybe someone else can elaborate on this topic...
