Yep, just a picture shows the amount that water levels have dropped on the Colorado River.
For those interested in water related issues, I recommend a TV series called “How the States got their shapes,” that aired on the history channel if I remember correctly.
It basically highlights how waterways and lakes formed a lot of our state’s borders and highlights water issues across the country.
A lot of other history as well, but they talk about lake mead and the Colorado river, the state line dispute between Georgia and Tennessee,
and everything else from Asian Carp in the Mississippi river threatening the Great Lakes, to rainfall levels and water consumption across the country.
A lot of interesting history, but it clearly shows that this whole country was founded on water. If you cant Netflix or Hulu it, spend the $10 to buy the DVD of the series and watch it with your kids.
