You have missed the point entirely. That info IS in the public domain and ANYONE using their real name on a message board should EXPECT to be under such scrutiny when dealing with finacial issues involving others. Even if all they do is recommend a stock, they should expect to be scrutinized in this way. After all, THEY CHOSE TO USE THEIR REAL NAME IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Now, if someone chooses NOT to use their real name then there is no issue as the only way public info can be posted is if it is obtained illegally via hacking a web site or personal computer with the info stored on it or by having a web site operator divulge the info to third parties without having consent to do so. That would then land such a person in deep legal trouble. So much so that they should expect to pay big money to settle the claim!

Matt .... you are incorrect .... FG wrote a letter to a government agency that any twit knows then becomes information in the PUBLIC domain.
