Highly unlikely to use liquid metal. They usually reserve new materials for brand new designs, not for refreshes.

My opinion, the iphone7 would be a good version for introducing lqmt but that could be a few years out if Apple sticks with various iterations of 6, maybe in 2016 or 17.
