Meow actually has a SPNG sponge too. Seriously it is in a drawer in Meows kitchen. Having seen and touched something is not all that necessarily. Unless you are going to claim Meow really does not have a sponge and/or Spongetech was not a total scam. They advertised the sponges in MLB and NHL stadiums. And the sponge Meow has was received as a promo at the SEMA show in 2006. So the argument that being at the CES or Gaming conventions would not mean legitimacy either. SPNG did all that including placement in Wal-marts. The NP-1 cant claim that, as it was not available anywhere main stream retail anywhere.
