DCVax-L has an orphan designation for GBM. If it is approved (say January 2017) by the FDA, it has patent protection for 7 years FROM THE TIME OF FDA APPROVAL. That would be 2024. In Europe, approval by the EMA would give it 10 years out to 2026.
