"...Consistent with projections..." - this is the part that I'm not clear about. I assume they take the number of actual total events and compare it to their projected number. Half of the projected rate is derived using the 5.2% event rate but what event rate was used to calculate the rate in the Vascepa arm to come up with the projection - is 5.2%, 15%? 40%? These are huge differences.
Agree the silence from Amarin speaks loudly;) Events are tracking as planned...or number would have increased. I hope HD can review the protocol and give us his opinion.
