#16298 RE: buzlightwave #16297

According to my calculations and assumptions it would be the 110C thermal aging test they spoke about at SHM, if they left it in the oven 24/7 and didn’t take it out the testing would be complete about a week from now. However IMO they need to remove it to test it to see if it has broken yet. If not they stick it back in, and remember that they are also using that same oven to bake other devices. My best guess was the end of the month. Last night I asked that question, AS ALWAYS I told them I did not want to know HOW it was doing, just when they might complete the test they soke about at the SHM and was told that my second time frame (end of month) was closer. If you think about it why would they put it back in if it was broken. Not sure how the lab is doing on that chemical stability work/test is doing.

The reply was something like, slow and steady and your second assumption/timeline is closer.

Now that sounds like good news cause if it was Broken they wouldn’t be cooking it anymore, make sense? But then again I’m not one of those, “Let’s run down the hill screaming an hollering and bang us a few of those cows, I’m more of walk down there, get it right and do them all.” Kind of guy.

As usual I gotta split.
