remember shorts who are buying-to-cover are losing gains
as the price moves upward so they orchestrate price movements
where they can buy-to-cover at least cost.

such shorts may go even shorter intra-day in hopes of
driving price downward enough to enable them to acquire more shares
than they sold today (and end the day as a net long having covered a short)
